Scott Myatt founded Myatt Landscaping Concepts, the original name, in the spring of 1994, when he was just 20 years old, driven by a love for construction and landscaping. With the help of key connections, he laid the groundwork for what would become a thriving business. Not long after, his brother Todd joined him, and together they assembled a team of employees who shared their dedication to excellence. Remarkably, they still have the first skid steer they purchased nearly 30 years ago—a testament to their journey and commitment.
In 1998, they expanded by launching the maintenance division by bringing on Ryan Kimbro. Maintenance quickly became an invaluable asset, maintaining the stunning landscapes the team was creating. Anna Myatt launched the floriculture team, truly rounding out this division of the company.
The company continued to grow with the addition of key team members like Chris Eakins in 2001, who handled estimating and supply orders, and Herbie Champion, who started as a laborer in 2003 and worked his way up to Installation and Construction Division Manager. Their father, Ronny Myatt, joined in 2005, ensuring that crews had the right equipment at the right time.
Over the years, Myatt Landscaping and Construction has added many talented team members, many of whom have stayed with the company for years. Their client base has grown primarily through positive word of mouth, not flashy advertising. They receive calls from neighbors, friends, and family of satisfied clients, leading to a steady stream of new work.
Today, with 25 maintenance crews, 9 installation and construction crews, and 2 floriculture crews, Myatt Landscaping and Construction is showing no signs of slowing down. This incredible team continues to build on the legacy of passion, dedication, and strong connections that started it all.
